CRICKET.
'A friendly game of cricket was played on the racecourse on Saturday between the Central School eleven and a team from H. Drown ami Co's Motley Street mills. The Central Boy's team was beaten in the first innings by 22 runs to 12, but in the second innings, by dint of good sound batting they put on i 73 runs, to which their opponents replied with 13. The lidding was very fine, Webster and McMillan bring oft some good catches, while. Gray and Burnsido bowled with deadly effect. Scores were as follows : CENTRAL SCHOOL.-lst Innings.
