Per Press Association. HAWERA, Dec. 2. The Egmont A. ami P. Show is being held to-day in fine weather. The horse and cattle are especially strong. in sheep Mr Wybourne, ol Whenuakura, took the championship for ram and ewe Lincoln ; Mr Short, o-f Waituna, championship ram and ewe Roniney ; and in Shropshire Downs Mr J. J.' Campbell, of Mainiaia, took b)oth championships. In thoroughbred horses Mr M. Roberts' Fairy Queen, 'by Vanguard— Skylark, was tire champion nrare. The principal prizes for Lincolns went to Messrs Slack Bros., of Palmerston North ; Ronuieys to Messrs Fearce and Forinen, fend Border Jjeicesters to Mr Tonks. The cbampionsfoips for Shorthorn bull and cow were won by Mr Fantbam, and , lw ! A,lfrus Mr Campf n fat S,h «-'P Messrs Tonks and Robertson Bros, divided honours and m fat cattle the Hunter Estate' and Messrs Tonks, Robertson, ami Winks won most prizes. The Lowgarth Co-operc?¥tve Co. was first in cheese, and the Maketawa Co (Ing'Jewood; in butler.
