LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. FRIDAY, Nov. 20. The Council met at L'.iSO when the Preferential Trade Hill wes introduced for its second reading by the At-torney-General. In the evening tho debate was continued and the Bill was put through its final stages. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Tho introducing of the Wine Adulteration Bill was postponed for a week. The amendments made by tho Council in the Juvenile Smoking Suppression Bill were disagreed with. Tho National Scholarship Bill was committed. EVENING SITTING. The National Scholarship Bill was reported with amendments and put through its final stages. At 11 p.m. the Hon. Hall-Jones moved tho second reading of the Public Works Bill.
