■PALMERSTON N., Nov. 18. The Manawatu A. and P. Show commenced to-day. The weather was wet during tho morning, but cleared ofl' at noon, and this afternoon hod every appearance of continuing- fine lire judging- to-day was confined to home industries, product', horticultural, poultry, and pigs. I„ the three' iormer sections, entries were not particularly numerous, and the quality of the exhibits did not" arouse the enthusiasm of the judges. There were over 400 entries in poultry o'n;d the quality was generally very fair, some of fhe classes Weing eXcep lonally good.
