Rotokare Reserve.

WELLINGTON, Nov. 18. In . the House this afternoon Mr Symes askod the Minister of Lands if it is the intention of the Government to settle the claims of lessees of the Rotokare Domain who were deprived cf their leases through the passing of "The Rotokare. Domain Act Repeal Act, 1903." The Hon. Duncan replied that it is the intention of tho Government to see the claims of the State lessees of the portions cf the Rotokare Domain when their claims are submitted through the proper channel, namely the Commissioner of Crown Lands at New Plymouth, who has been instructed to forward a report upon such claims. When received they will have due consideration.
