NATIVES RAID CAPE COLONY. LONDON, Nov. 10. Fifteen hundred rebel Bondelzwarts raided 'Cape Colony, south of Warmbad. The Cape police fi red upon them, killing several. ROYAL BETROTHAL. It' is officiaJly announced that Princess Alice of Albany, is betrothed to Prince Alexander of Teck. COMPLIMENTARY. Mr Choote, American Ambassador, at the Lord Mayor's banquet at the Guildhall, eulogised Lord Alverstone (Chief Justice of England) for his courago and devotion to duty. Lord Alverstonc, who acted as Chairman of the Alaskan Tribunal, in a grateful reply, declared that if tho parties did not want a judicial decision they should not ask British judges to be members of an Ai*b{tration Court.
