The drama, which is in five acts, op;ns as Bishopscourt, Isle of Man, where all the principal characters are introduced, incidentally developing the lives and customs of the people of. this rcrcnntic iel?, intimately connected , with ll>ll Cains, The second net; shows the fishing village at Peel Beach, j a beautiful and picturesque seascape j scene. Here a 3m: sof big situations j take placj, including the Iddurdhr by Dan Mylrea, of Ewan, and tha former's cscapj from the soldiery at sea. In the third act is shown the kidnapping of Dan, and tuoeequently in the second scene the great, trial of the hero by the Deemster and the Bishop, culminating in Din's exile for life. The fourth acs introduces one of the most powerful scents ever written, showing the solitary exile of Dan on the iehnd of Oraigneesh. In the last act is shown the interior of the church at Bishoj s court and the trial of Mona, Din's sweetheart. Tho sentence on Dan is annulled upon the undertaking that ha leaves the island with Mona, now hia wife. To-morrow evening the company will present Miss Maud Williamson's original dramatisation of "Tbe Christian," which is spoken of by our contemporariei as being the most remarkable version ever pressntel. Mr Alfred Woods will ba aaen as Dm Mylroa, the Fidiop's son, and the delichtful English actress, Miss Maud Williamson, will pourtray the character of Mona Mylres, the Deemster's daughter. The caste is an unusually large one, and of all round merit.
