It will bo remembered that through the instrumentality of the Rev. F. A. Bennett, some while since, a sum of money waf> raised on behalf of the Queen Victoria School, and therewith a piano was purchasod for the use of the pupils, whose appreciation of his kindly action is shown in the following acknowledge ment of the gift: We the pupils cf the Queen Victoria School wi- h to thank the people of Taranaki for their handsome gift of a piano.
