Death ie asoribed to epilepsy, to which be was subject. The coroner has not yet ordered an inquest, Aucku.«td, October 19. At an inquest on the body of Mabel Hutchinson, found drowned at Howick Bcaoh, an open verdiot was returned, there being nothing to show the cause of the fatality, except a statement thit deceased was in the habit of walking in her sleep. Wkllisgtoh, Ootober 19.
The body of u Maori named Ropat* was found in the Otaki river. It is supposed he was washed out of a buggy wUun crossing the river and drowned. The inquiry regarding the euddm death of Mrs Malcolm Nicool wm concluded to-day. The Colonial Analys*, who had made an examination of portions of the body, nad found no traoss of poison. Drs. Henry and Puttnam, on being recalled, said tbey now thought air embolism was a ouse of death. The jury returned a verdict that the death was caused during the process of a miscarriage, under circumitanoes of grave suspicion against Mrs Winter. It is understood to-night that the polios do not contemplate taking aotion in tbs matter,
