AN EXTENSIVE BURGLARY.
MR PBESS ASSOCIATIOH. Received 15, 0.30 a.m. Melbourne, October 14. Burglars a tig h*ul at Melon Mayers' jewellery establishment in Klizibeth-street. They gained ac entrance by cutting siole in the floor, secured £4OOO worth of jewellery and escaped by the back as the manag3r entered the front deor in tho miming. Another jeweller on the same premises met one of the burglars in the passage. He declared he had beer locked in and was allowed to go.
