THB NEW ONKHUNG4-NEW PLYMOUTH BXUAMKK. AN BNJOYABLIC EXCURSION. (Special to tbe News.) Whang »eoa, October 12. The Northern S.S. Company's new steamer Rarawa, with about 8Q pas senders, including several from T«rannki, left Auckland at 8 o'clock on Sunday night to take up her New Plymcuth-Onehunga run. She reached Russell at eight this (Monday)morning, and Whanqaroa at mid-day. We expect to arrive at Hokianga early to morrow, and reach Onehunga on Thursday. The weather is damp and nasty, but the sea is moderate. Everybody is delighted with the { ship and all the arrangements,
