ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Pa lm kkston Noutji, October 1. A boy, named Hoath, was thrown from his horse in the Square this morning and sustained concussion of the brain. He is in a critical condition. Timaru, October 1. Dagald Shaw, aged 59, (an old resident of Timaru) a b.icon-curer and commission agent, was found drowned nt ChroliEie Bay. Ha has bsen unwell for some time and his melical attendant suggested that he fell into the water in a fib. A verdict of found drowned was returned.
