Oheistohuech, Bentem.ber 2?. The body of Matilda Campbell, a married woman 51 years of age, was found in Dudley Creek yesterday afternoon. She had been suffering from partial paralysis, and left the house for her usual morning walk on Friday and nothing further was seen of her till the body was found.
William Gillespie, aged 74, and residing about 1£ miles fr>m Rangiora, was found dead yesterday afternoon. WHANc.AitEt, September 26. It is repartad that Constable Joyce was killed while attempting to arrest a drunken man ai Pahi. Wellington, September 27. Advice received by the Commissioner of Police about Oonstahle Joyce is that he died of heart disease.
