PRISONER'S ESCAPE AND RECAPTURE.

! Wellington, September 26. John Moffat, aged 22, committed for trial on a charge of theft from a duelling, esoaped from the Terrace Gaol at 9.15 this morning. He scaled the wall of the exeroise yard, and although fired at by a warder, continued his flght and got olear away.
Wellington, September 27. Moffat was captured by two warders after a short ohose in Abel Smithstreet.
