A meeting was held at tha Kid House on Friday evening for the purpose of forming an East End Water Polo Club The meeting wac fairly well attended, ;il! showing a keen interea', MrMur on being in the chsir. It wai untoiaaously decided that an East Er;d | Water Polo Club bo formed, and that | the subscript mbe : Senior members lsj 6d, junior members (under 14 years) 61, The following committofi wus »p-'j pointed : —Captain, Mr J. K'vell; sec-1 and treasurer, Mr W. J. Treeby ; e mmitt?e, Messrs W, W. Carter, Murton, G, Shaw, and H. M. Bauchope. The membership roll amoun' ed to closa on 40. It was dt-cid dto confer with the West End for the purpose) >f fotming a New Pkmou' h Amateur j Sivimmin? Club, of which the E«tj and West End Polo Clubs would be branches. The proceedings terminated with a hearty vote of thanks Co tho-j chair.
