Judga Djnniston gtve judgment this morning in the casa of the Afliburton Club, whose charter was revoksd by the Colonial Secretary without notice. His Honor stated that he was satisfied that the power entrusted by statute to the Colonial Secretary was ju icial in nature and mu-t be executed judicially. A club whose franchise was threatened must have notice of the grounds on which it was attacked and an opportunity of shewing Ciiuse against the proposed revocation. A rule of certiorari was granted with £lO 10d costs.
