Mr Morgan was charged with intriguing against the Philp Government while still Speaker. The Gouernment party has a majority of twelve. A cyclone at Watwick unroofed houses and did much damage to property. i The present indications are for a record wheat harvest both in area and yield. A party at Dee River unearthed three imggets 38, 36, and 12 ounces respectively. Others have smaller finds. There is considerable excitement. Adelaide, September 19. An agitation ia on foot to secure inclusion with New Zealand in the steam service with Noumea and pledging sup- j port. A letter and telegram were sent to Mr Seddon, who has sent a favourable reply and awaits the letter.
