"THE &A.DY SIiATJCY." The stage of the Theatre Boyal will again be occupied to-night. The company will be Mr John F. Sheridan's, and the opening musical comady will bo " The Lady Slavey." This piece records the story of the financial troubles of Major O'Neill, whose youngest daughter, Phyllis, is " The Lady Slavey," taking the place of the domestic so as to hide the fact that her father was tou poor to pay one. This arrangement, together with the complications arising from inducing the bailiffs to act aB liveried servants, leads to many laughable situations, of which Mr Sheridan makes the most. Other complications ensue, causing endless I fun and giving Mr Sheridan the opportunity of appearing in other characters, including that ef V A Million- | aire." In the end everything is found to be right. On Thursday night the season will be brought to a close by the representation of " Widow O'Brien," a character Dlff Sheri4an has poyrtrayed nearly 6000 times.
