BeceWcd 11,11.47 p.m. Bbusskls, Sep'ember 11, Five hundred delegates attending the International Dairy Congress, rejected a proposal to prohibit the sale of butter adulterated with an admixture of a large proportion of foreign fats, and left each country at liberty to adopt its own measures to prevent adulteration with margarine and other fats. They expressed a hope that only butter would be imparted which whs' provided with a certificate of origin, or that contained a high proportion of fatty acids.
