A five-roomed house near the railway station, occupied by Edward Hughes, was destroyed by lire at two o'clock this mornipg, Tha occupants were p.way ae the time and there is I nothing to show how the fire originated. The insurance could not be ascertained. Masthktos, September 6. Four outbreaks of fire occurred Us 1 ' night, all of which were quickly suppreeaad, no damage being done. lacendiarism is strongly suspected.
