ONLY UNPROTKO TED STAGING AFfEOTED. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION, Timaru, September 4. A heavy sea is still running here, but there is no further damage of any kind to any length. The new mole prior to the storm was 1875 feet, and only 600 feet of thU was carried away v being the wooden staging at the end which was not protected by rubble. The finished portion of the mole withstood the heavy sea admirably though rough weather has continued, for the past three days. The boats in port, including the steamer Waiwera, continued to work the whole time without any interruption of any kind.
