The Duke of Grafton's easy win in the Riwson Stakes made him much fancied for tho A. J.O. Derby. Amongst the number of candidates for big events I thai he defeated was Famous, favour-1 ire for Epsom Handicap, who started j a hot favourite and ran unplaced.
