STATE COAL MINE.

GOOD PROSPKOTB. Par Press Association. Gbetxouth, August 28. Word came to-night that ooal had been struck in No, 2 tunnel of the state Coal Mine. The seam was drilled for 12 feet without boring through. The tunnel is 600 feet below the outcrop and 40 chains from No. 1 tunnel. This shows that at present there is considerably over a million tons of coal available. The sample is excellent.
