LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP. RBI FBXSB ASSOCIATION. Welungtoh,, August 26. Flay was continued to day. Mrs Oolline, the holder of the Wellington Club's championship, was unable to play owing to illness. Eesults of tbird round:-Miss Lewis (Auckland) beat Miss Fitzherbert (Hutt) 3 up and 2 to play, Mrs Bloomfield (Auckland) beat Mrs Perry (Napier) 4 up 2 to play, Mrs Bidwill (Wairarapa) beat Mrs Oleghorn (Wanganui) 6 up 4 to play, Mrs Pearce (Wellington) bye. Fourth Bound: —Miss Lewis beat Mrs Blaomfield 4 up 2 to play, Mrs Pearce beat Mrs Bidwill 1 up at the 19th hole. The final round between Miss Lewis and Mrs Pearce will be played tomorrow.
