The animated pictures are remarkably long and clear, and the I series shown were an odaca'ion in themselves. A good many of them are, if New Zealand »nd Australian scenes, i and as suoh possess an additional interest. The lime light pictures, to.>,! were remarkably fine. During the evening three eocgs (" The Little Hero," "The L*S5 Muster," aid "Toe Tillers,") were given by mf mbers of the company, all of which were beautifully illustrated. Not the least attrac<ive part of the programme are the instrumental items. There is a fine orchestra, and a band tf mandoline players whoss play delighted the audience.
On Sunday, services in keeping with the day were held, and attended by large crowds.
This afternoon there will be a children's -matinee, and this evening another splendid biorama display will be given. Major Peny and his company put on a fine programme, which should prove a pleasure to everyone, certainly no one should miss this show.
