GARRISON BAND'S ANNUAL SOCIAL.
The Band's annual social, which takes place at the Drill Hall to-night, promises to ba the most successful one of the series. The decorations at tta Drill Hall are mcst (deceive, and the floor will bo in splendid ord>r for dancers, while the music will be supplied by Mr Rountree's popular orthes'ra. The supper arrangements have bien the ■jpeci 1 care of the ladies, who hive prepared for a record attendance. The new conductor, Mr J. Gordon, has arrived, and it is his intention to bring the Band to the fore in giving pleasure to the townspeople by popular concerts ar.d Saturday night parades. Th>: tickets for the social are selling well, and we hope tha Garrison B ir.d wili to-night meet with the support they deserve.
