FSB PRESS ASSOCIATION, Wellington, July 30. In the appeal case for leave to appeal in the Chalmers licensing cast 1 , the Appeal Court found that the ease was one suitable for appeal, but it had no jurisdiction to graut leave. The Rev. P. W. Isitt, in the course of an interview, stated with reference to the licensing deputation to the Premier yesterday, that the no-license party will vigorously oppose at least three of the proposals made by Mr Seddon, namely (1) that there shall be no local option poll till 1903; (2) that magistrates shall replace licensing committees; (3) the absolute prohibition of liquors in homes of residents in nolicense districts.
