IN BANKRUPTCY.
W. VOK BTURMER'd ESTATE.
At the D.O.A.'s office ou Wednesday was held the first general meeting of creditors in the estate of the above bankrupt, who is now undergoing sentence for misappropriating money belonging to tha New Plymouth Sash and Dcor Company.
Mr Quilliam (Govett and Qailliam) represented the Sash and Door Company, and several creditors were present.
Mr E. 0. Yon Sturmer, bankrupt's brother waß present, and submitted a statement showing how he had administered the estate. He was subjected to a searching examination by Mr Quilliam as to the various items staW to have been paid out in fees to Councel, and as to cash paid to bankrupt's wife.
On the motion of Mr Tribe, it was decided that tha D.O.A. should thoroughly investigate all the transactions between tbe bankrupt and his brother, and that bankrupt should be brought to New Plymouth to be examined as to his affairs.
