A representative meeting of cheep tinners of Mwlborough was held today and discussed the prices given for sheep in this district by the Christchurch Meat Co., 88 owners of the Picton Fret*'ng Works. A. committee was appointed to wait on the doctors to ask if, in view of the f ct that the number put through tho wcrks hst seison reaih?d 100,000, they could not •3e their way to placs Marlborough farmers on the same footing in every respect as the Canterbury farmers.
