PRESBYTERY OF TARANAKI.
There was a meeting of the Presbytery at Hawera on July 16, Rav. Ivo E. Bertram, M.A., Moderator. The following minutes hive been forwarded tons: Mr Jamas G. Chappie was licensed to preach the Gospel. The congregatiou at Waverley was granted leive to moderate in a call to the Rev. W. White, M A., of Wallacetown. Reports on church extension re Patoß, Elth&m, laglewo >d, aad Opuoake were received. Mr Webster, of Inglewood, gave an erxouraging report of life and work in bis dis'rict. Mr Maidmeot is a zealous worker in the district of Opunake.
