EARTHQUAKES.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Rsceived 16, 1.15 a.m. Melbourne, July 15. The seismograph at tbe Observatory recorded tremors about the time tf the quakes in the western diVrict. The vibrations registered lasted 12 minutes, but only for a few seconds was the shock i-harp. Many windows were broken at WarrDambool, walls were cracked, the spire of St. Joseph's Catholic Church thrown out of plumb, monuments in the cemetery shifted and some overthrown
