RAILWAY TRUCK ACCOMMODATION.

A large deputation of meabu* waited on §ir Joseph Ward this morning re the want of trucking accommoiation'for sheep at t.hie period of tbe year when they were required for feezing purposes. Mr. Buchanan introduced the subjeot to the Minister. Messrs, Bynrs and Jennings represented the Tarmaki difficulties, the latter euegetfiog that the Minister should t ke into consideration atouk generally, as cattle and pigi war* under the same disidvantigfs as sho p. The Minister repliad that the Department «as making every tflforl to oompeta w th tin enormous demands mide upon it for carrying stock and grain. Ha I bipod to be in a position to eope with the difficulties in a short tim> owing to a large number of trucks now constructed.
