The amount of wheat and fl ur imported between November 1902 and Febru<ry 1903 was 59,510 bushels The amount of wheat and flour exported between November 1902 and February 19Q3 was 76,940 bushels, and the con&ump'ion iu the same pariod for a popu'ation of 850,000 was reckoned at the rate of sis bushels per head per annum. This left available for all purposes in February last 6,971,275 bushrda. The estimated qmntity required f r seed is 400,000 bushels, anl for consumption for the period ending wi h February next year 5,160,000 bu hels. The apparent surplus it 1,411,270 bushels, ' [
