FEB FBKBS ASSOCIATION. Melbourne, Jure 2. Sir E. Barton states that the new contract for increasing the Vancouver subsidy to £16,000 for two years is ready for signature, subsfqufntly to being submitted to Parliament. Ihe Commonwealth May returns place it beyond doubt that the year's revenue will exceed the Treasurer's estimate by fully £600,000. The two States which have not exceeded tte' estimate are New South Wales and Victoria. Brisbane, June 2. Very heavy weather, cyclonic in parte, prevails on the coast. Several buildings were unroofed. At Soutbport nine inches of rain were recorded. Received 3, 1.5 a.m. Brisbane, June 2. It is expected Parliament will meet on July 2nd. It is understood the Electoral Bill will provide for a reduc'ion of the Assembly from 72 to 56, of whom two will probably be representative of tbe Civil service and railway men,
