A GENEROUS GIFT. PXB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunkdin, June 1. At a meeting of tbe University Council a letter was received from Mr Wolf Harris, of Bing, Harris and Company, offering to give .£2OOO for endowing a chair of physiology in csnnection with the University and tbe Medical School, the principal condition being that the chair was to be filled at once. It was stated that an immediate appointment would ba made and that the generous doner had boon advised to that effect.
