PEB PBBSS ASSOCIATION. W ELLINGTON, April 28. Correspondence recently took plice between the New Z?almd Government and the Imperial authorities with regard to the admission to practice of N*w Zealand barristers and solicitors in England. The Premier has now received information that Mr Chamberlain had laid b.fora the Incorporated j Law Society a suggestion of the New Zealand Law Society that in view of the fact that services under articles is not compulsory in New Zealand, the requirements would ba met if candidates for admission to the English Bar were required to produce a certificate from a judge of the Supreme Ooort that any candidate before commencing practice in New Z*a'and had been engaged exclusively in acquiring practical knowledge of law for a period of not less than three years nnder a practising barrister. This proposal the Incorporated Society has agreed to.
