The box plan for sale of tickets will open this morning at the Colonial Piano Company's Store, and, judging from the interest already shown in anticipation of an enjoyable evening's amusement, we have no hestation in predicting for Vlr Vousden a bumper hou?e. His Worship the Mayor and the Mayoress hive intimated their intention to ba present. On Friday night Mr Yousden, for the first time in New Zealand, will introduce Edison's wonderful ventriloqaal talking dolls, and he will make them discuss local politics, etc,, etc. This marvellous act alone is said to be worth the price of admission. At the conalusion ot' the entertainment Mr Yal Vousden promises to psrmit those of the auiiauce wishing to inspect this wonderful invention an opportunity of doiog so. In addition to scores of items, both in mimicry and ventriloquism, Mr Yousden will give his celebrated imitation of a galloping horse, said to be the most wonderful imitation ever given oo any stage. In his origin <1 creation —Mrs O'ftourKe— he will make the old lady tell all about King Dick's doings at the Coronation. The performance will commence at 3 o'clock.
