THE HAWTREY COMEDY COMPANY.

The return visit of the Hawtrey Comedy Company, announced to open at the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening next, Ap'il 4th, will be very welcome to Kcal playgoers, as the former visit of the compiny to New Zealand was attended with exceptional success, 1 and the plays then presented gave more than ordinary satisfaction. Toe play, besides being stiik-l ingly original, is full of ingenious sur-1 prises, asjat the termination of tbelast act, when the unexpected happens somewhat suddenly, a row of liughter always results, Thai the season will provide high-class entertainment and hearty, wholesome fun goes without spying, as Mr Hawtrey always makes a point of presenting plays which are free from vulgarity, Mr Hawtrey has al-o the reputation of hiving his plays mounted in finished style and interpreted in an artistic manner. On Monday will be pr eg anted " A Message from Mars," and on Tuesday " Tom, Dick, and Harry," will be revived, The former play recently ran for six nights at Dunedin, and seven nights at Christ church to crowded housee.
