It is announced in this issue that with the Weekly Press of April Ist ia commenced a series of pictures taken in ■' Farthest Sou'h"bythe Ohristchurch Weekly Press' special photographer with the Discovery cxpeiition. The reUcf ship, the Morning, having returned from the Antarctic regions, brought back the photographs, which are copyright and protected. A specially written narrative of the expedition—what has been seen and done in the South Seas - accompanies the engravings, which will be the first in connection with the expedition to be published in the world, the Weekly
Press proprietaiy have shown great enterprise in securing this scoop, and there should be great demmd for copies of the numbers containing the pictures.
