THE FALL IN CONSOLS.
FBR PBBSB ABBOOIATION. Received 29, 5 26 pm. .London, March 28. Lord Haidwiok* stated that the fa'l in Consols was partly due to city financiers having a hundred and seventy-eight million) invested in South African gold stocks, which, owing to insufficiency of labour was not easily realised, but the fi et sign of improvement in the labour supply wauld cause a large rise in Consols.
