The Appe.il Court was engaged today on three case 3 involving disputed points under the Public Works Amendment Act, 1900, as to the dedication!) of land for widening streets. Th« most important was in the case of a block of land recently cut up and sold at the Hutt, whose vendors orly gave full w'dth to oim fiontaga, the result beiiy a series oi zig-zag streets. The Chiet Justice held that full width must be given on every frontage. Judgment was reserved.
