OPENING THE BULLS BRIDGE.
FSB PBEBS ASSOCIATION, Makton, March 26. The Premier opened the Balls bi i Jge ye t rday before a largo gathering. Rain fell mid spoilt l he celebrations. The bridge is far euperiur to the old one which was washed away in the 1897 flood, and is 1195 fetit longer, the totil lengths beirg 1570 feet. Toe cast of the construction was about! £16,000. | The Maoris presented Mr Seddoo with mats and entertained him at luncheon. Mr Seddon gave a short addiess dealing principally with the naval squadron.
