" The Times " will discontinua the sale of The Century Dictionary and Cyclopia and Atlas in New Zealand on March 28th. Tho introductory editionoffered at the minimum price is nearly exhausted, and when a further edition is offered and tha sale is resumed, delivery can only be made from London, and the price will bo increased, with carriage charges added from Eogland. Half the people who bought "The Time " Reprint of the ■' Encyc'optedia Britannica" wait< d until tho prices had been increafed. A year ago it could be bought at 20 per cent. less than the piieeat which it has since been sold, They waited because they did not want to hurry themselves. The luxury cf procrastination is no doubt worth something, but 20 per cent, seems a good to pay for it. To-day " The Times " sells " The Century" a 1; a reduction of 45 per c n*. from the publishers' prices. When thit price has been increased 20 pgrcent., "The Century" will still be a cheap book, but it will not be as cheap as it is now. Remember Siturday, March 28th, is the last day of the sale.
