In rerunning the heat he won on'Siturday he made a splendid effort, but was exhausted for want of assistance, Morgan winning a fine race by a few inchf s. The following eleven remain in the final to be run on Wednesday: —Don Walker syds, Morgan 10yds, Filaeli 45, Thome 80, Whiteon 110, (all Victoria™), Mutton 25, Payne 80, Fos er 95, Symon 120 (New South Wales), Forks (New Zealand) 10, Hopper (America) 75.
