The steamer Barratta was blown out into the harbour and ha 9 not been seen since. Bkisbane, March 10. Townsville is again completely cut off from telegraphic communication. A few short messages came through eatly this morning, which showed the whole district had suffered severely. Every effort is being made to restore communication. The Premier and the mayor of Brisbane have forwarded messages of sympathy.
