METHODIST CONFERENCE.
Per Press Association, Christchurch, March 9. The Conference resolved that superintendents oE districts ba requested to take measures to fittingly commemorate the bicentenary of Wesley's birth on June 17th, 1903; that central and district committees be appointed to co-operate with other churches for thepurpose of selecting a Bible text bnok for use in the State schools of the colony, and take such other steps as | may be deemed expedient to promo'e the interests of the movement.
