TARANAKI ANNUAL REGATTA.
A BUOCESBFUL MEETING. The Waitara Regatta was held yesterday, ac.d, as predicted, proved a great success, both I■ om the point of view of attendance ('.here beiug some 3000 present) and good racing. The' weather was paifect and the «a'er smooth. Tho ollic'als, e-pecially the genial and energetic hon. secretary (Mr H. Spuidle), are to be again complimented upon hiving provided a most enjoyable outing. The following are the results of the different events:— , BOYS' RAOE. For boys under 17 years.
