Reese was the iir3t to retire, 30 being up for one wicket. On resuming after luncheon Siederberg was almost at ence caught, and only five were added when Wilson shared the same fate. The partnership of Howden and Boxshall was profitable, the latter putting on 40 in quick style. After being let off in the slips he was caught with the total at 94. . Oogley soon fe'l a victim to Burnup, and one ball was enough for Callawaf. Fisher put on 11, bat none of the Others could sjiay with Howden, who carried out; bis bat for 37.
