ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Duhediw, February 8. An oli resident at Green Island named Alex Neil met his death on Thursday whilst working for Mr Ghas. Samsoc. Towards the end of the previous week he cut his hand whilst picking up a piece of sing from the ironworks, but took no notice at the time. On Tussdny he felt out of sor's, and on Wednesday feeliog worse a doctor was cent for, who found the patient suffering from blood poisoning and in a critical s'a'e. Additional ai l was summoned, but Ne 1 rapidly grew | worse and died. ' ! Timabu, February 7. A ycung n;an, An bur Surridge, a painter, residing at Teruuba, wai drowned last evening at Milford lagoon. Deceased was with a fishing party. The boat capsized, and being uoaiile to swim he quickly disappeared, and was not seen agsirj.
