M'Gr*th, of Sou h'and, was second with 96 point*, and McAt* of North East Valley third with 90 points. The julge spoke very highly of the playiug, and s.iid that all the competitors were worthy of a place in any bind. The total uumbn' of mark he awarded in this competition was the highest he had ever awarded ia a similar competition.
